Tableted salt is designed to restore the ion-exchange properties of cationic filters in industrial water treatment processes and water softening in domestic systems, with the aim of protecting heating elements from lime scale deposits. The shape of the tableted salt usually has a diameter of about 2-3 cm and can come in various forms, depending on the manufacturer. They are convenient for dosing and uniform dissolution.
